On May 15, Oppo will be launching the Realme 1, which is the first smartphone in its new sub-brand called the Realme. From what we already know, the phone is going to feature a diamond-shaped glass back, like the one on the recently launched Oppo A3.
According to 91Mobiles, the Realme 1 will feature a MediaTek Helio P60 processor, and 6GB of RAM. The choice of processor begs us to believe that the Realme 1 is going to be a AI-focused smartphone, since the Helio P60 carries multi-core AI processing units.
Amazon India’s landing page for the device also in a way confirms the focus on AI. There are two images on the landing page, one of which talks about the AI’s influence on improving performance, while reducing heat levels and battery consumption. The other image confirms AI’s integration with the camera. The image showcases how AI can help you make the most of the camera’s output.
The Realme 1 has also been featured on AnTuTu and GeekBench websites. The variant with 6GB of RAM managed to obtain a score of 139,432 on AnTuTu. While in GeekBench, the phone managed to get a score of 5,871 and 1,542 in multi-core and single-core tests respectively.
