Oppo is teasing an all-new F7 smartphone through its social accounts. It is the first official announcement to come from the company about the smartphone with the ‘notch screen’.
In its tweet, Oppo also teased the brand’s new local ambassador, a cricketer, likely to be Hardik Pandya. As is the tradition with Oppo smartphones, the F7 is also said to be a selfie-centric smartphone.

Based on the teaser image, the Oppo F7 will come with the familiar cutout design on the top for a narrower bezel. past rumors indicate the smartphone will be equipped with a 6.2-inch full HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen-to-body ratio is said to be around 89.09 percent.
For optics, the Oppo F7 is said to be equipped with a 25-megapixel front camera, added with AI features, real-time
HDR, improved Beauty Mode, and AR stickers.
Details on the chipset are scarce, however, given the design similarities with the R15, it is possible to have the Oppo F7 running the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC, GSMArena reports. It is also likely that a MediaTek Helio P6 will run under the hood. On the software front, the smartphone is expected to run Android Oreo-based Color 4.0.
Last month, Oppo launched the A71 smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 9,990, the Oppo A71 features a 5.2-inch HD display, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz, 3GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, 3,000mAh battery, and Android Nougat out-of-the-box.
On the other hand, Oppo is also set to announce the Oppo R15 smartphone in its home country tomorrow. The smartphone will also feature the iPhone X-like notch on the front. It is likely to pack a 6.28- inch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, 6GB of RAM, 3,300mAh battery, and dual-camera setup at the back with a combination of 20-megapixel + 16-megapixel sensors.
