Oppo is set to launch the N3 on October 29, but it seems like the smartphone won t be the only thing that will be unveiled that day. Oppo surprisingly put up a photo on its official Weibo account, showing a photo of an employee wearing a VR headset with the Oppo logo. From the above photo, the headset looks a bit rectangular-ish compared to the likes of Samsung s Gear VR. No details are available about the headset, but it will mostly pair with the forthcoming N3. Oppo would become the latest company to jump on the VR bandwagon joining the likes of Oculus, Samsung, Google, and Carl Zeiss. Google unveiled the Cardboard at I/O earlier this year, and Samsung soon followed by unveiling the Gear VR at its IFA event. More recently, camera lens maker Carl Zeiss announced the VR One, which will start shipping later this year.
Oppo is set to launch the N3 on October 29, and from what we know so far, the smartphone will boast a 13-megapixel swivel camera. In terms of specifications, the N3 is expected to feature a 5.9-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 805 processor, and 3GB of RAM.
