Earlier today the Housing.com website was hacked, and with no official statement from the company, fingers were being pointed at the recently sacked CEO Rahul Yadav. He has however claimed innocence via a post on his Facebook page.

rahul-yadav-housing-com-hack-reactionAs seen above, Yadav has posted a screenshot of the hacked webpage accompanied by a sly message, “I would have DESIGNED it better. ‪#‎NotInvolved ‪#‎LoveYouTechTeam.” While he has claimed innocence, the second hashtag is a thank you to the tech team. Interestingly, Yadav had posted a photo on his Facebook account last night with the message, “Assemble the Avengers. The world needs saving again!” Mind you, the messages may not be in any way connected, and could be pure coincidence.

Yadav was sacked last week, after the investors took a decision citing issues with his “behavior towards investors, partners and the media.” He had courted quite a controversy and recently also earned the title of being the ‘Arvind Kejriwal of Indian Tech startups’. From giving up all of his shares to employees, to asking Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal and Ola Cabs CEO Bhavish Aggarwal to do the same – he earned quite an reputation in a short span of time.
