Xiaomi has announced that it sold over half a million (more than 500,000) Mi TVs in India in over six months. The company launched its smart TV range earlier this year across mi.com, Flipkart, and Mi Home Stores. The combined sale of Mi LED TV 4 (55-inch), Mi LED TV 4A 32 and Mi LED TV 4A 43 accounts for more than 500,000, said company in a press statement.
Recently in conversation with BGR India, Xiaomi’s Global VP Manu Kumar Jain had said that the 43-inch Mi TV 4A has been there best selling smart TV till date in India. “This achievement marks an industry first, and is a key milestone for Xiaomi India. Mi LED TVs recently became the most rated TV on Flipkart with over 100,000 ratings and have garnered a lot of love from users across India,” notes Xiaomi.

It took us years of planning to get the hardware design, smart Patchwall User Interface and software partnerships to deliver a truly smart TV experience to our Mi Fans. We are glad that half a million Indians put their faith in a Mi TV in such a short span of time.
Currently Xiaomi’s smart TV lineup in India has the “world’s thinnest LED TV” Mi TV 4 with 55-inch 4K display, and the Mi TV 4A, which carries 32-inch and 43-inch variants. The larger 43-inch Xiaomi Mi TV 4A features a full-HD resolution panel, a 60Hz refresh rate, three HDMI and USB ports each, and Xiaomi special PatchWall smart TV interface. The smaller 32-inch option comes with almost the same features and the same smart TV interface, but with an HD (1366×768-pixel) panel, and two USB ports. Additionally, both variants feature 20W speakers.
Earlier this month, Xiaomi made both size variants of Mi TV 4A available through open sale on Flipkart and mi.com. The 32-inch and 43-inch variants of the Mi TV 4A can now be bought without pre-orders or waiting for flash sales. The 32-inch variant of the Xiaomi Mi TV 4A is priced at Rs 13,999, while the 43-inch option costs Rs 22,999.

Additionally, there are reports that Xiaomi has plans to start selling its Mi TV range offline via brick-and-mortar multi-brand stores by Diwali, in order to get a larger slice of the market share in India.
