The company announced that the price of its refurbished Redmi Note 4G is going to be Rs 7,999, while the unboxed version will cost Rs 8,499. The Redmi 1S will be available for Rs 4,599 for refurbished handsets, and Rs 4,999 for unboxed ones. The sale will begin at 2.00PM and will last for two hours. Overcart announced that the sale will be open to all without any need for registration.These Redmi Note 4G and Redmi 1S units are essentially those that are returned by buyers to Xiaomi s Indian retail partners. Refurbished are smartphones that are repaired of any flaws, while unboxing means just opened but unused devices. Xiaomi assures that all the Redmi Note 4G and Redmi 1S units sold on Overcart are refurbished by official service partners who have used genuine Xiaomi spare parts. All the Xiaomi products are covered with a 14-day return guarantee and a six-month company warranty on Overcart. The original price of a brand new Redmi Note 4G is Rs 9,999 and the Redmi 1S is Rs 5,999. Just like the previous sales, there will be very limited quantities available on Overcart.
To recap on the Redmi Note 4G specs, it flaunts a 5.5-inch HD (1280 720 pixels) IPS display, and is powered by a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 305 GPU and 2GB RAM.
The phablet also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and 8GB internal storage, microSD card support, and a 3,100mAh battery. Connectivity options include single-SIM card slot, LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and on the software front, it runs on MIUI 6.
The Redmi 1S has a 4.7-inch HD 720p display, a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera, 8GB internal storage that can be further expanded using the microSD card slot, and a 2,000mAh battery. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean wrapped under Xiaomi s MIUI.
