OnePlus has just launched a new system update for the OnePlus 6T. This new update brings the version number of its Android-based operating system, OxygenOS to 9.0.7. This update brings a number of new updates to the system, camera, and earphone segments in the device. Similar to older updates, OnePlus Global Product Operations manager Manu J posted a dedicated blog post on OnePlus forums to announce details about the update.
Taking a closer look at the changelog of the update, OnePlus seems to have fixed a number of problems in the update. In the system section, the update has improved the Bluetooth connectivity with better connectivity. The update has also improved the Wi-Fi connectivity and power consumption of the operating system along with general improvements and bug fixes. In addition to this, the update has also fixed some display issues that a small number of users were reporting with the lock screen wallpaper. Moving to the camera section, the changelog indicates that OnePlus has improved the performance of the camera on OnePlus 6T devices while recording slow-motion videos.

The company has also added a new Audio tuner for Bluetooth earphones so that users can change the audio profile of their Bluetooth earphones. Similar to almost all other updates that OnePlus rolls out, this update is also scheduled to roll out in an incremental manner.
This means that the update will only reach “a small percentage of users” today so that OnePlus can keep a tab on any serious bugs or issues that may have accidentally shipped with the new update. In case of any such bug, the company can easily stop the update and limit the number of devices affected by the update. If the update does not appear on your OnePlus 6T then don’t worry as the update will gradually reach your device in coming days, if not hours.
