Panasonic is expanding its Eluga-series with the new Eluga I3 Mega smartphone.

Panasonic recently launched the Eluga Ray and  P85 smartphones in India, and now it seems to be close to launching yet another smartphone under its Eluga-series. The Panasonic Eluga I3 Mega has been listed on the Panasonic India’s official website, but there is no word on the pricing or the availability of the device.

The smartphone comes with a metal body with 2.5D curved IPS screen on the front. At the back, you have the camera and LED flash. Right below it, you have the Panasonic logo. The volume rockers and the power button are placed on the right-hand side. The talking point of the smartphone is the 5.5-inch HD display and 4,000mAh battery. The company claims that the battery is good enough to last throughout the day. The Panasonic Eluga I3 Mega comes sans fingerprint scanner.

The smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch HD display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. On the camera front, the smartphone will sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. There is a 4,000mAh battery, and connectivity options like 4G with VoLTE support, USB OTG, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Even though details about the pricing is unavailable at the moment, keeping in mind the specification, the smartphone will face competition with the likes of Karbonn Aura Power 4G Plus and Xiaomi Redmi 4A. The smartphones are priced at Rs 5,790 and Rs 5,999 respectively.
