Panasonic Eluga Ray 550 with 3GB RAM, 13-megapixel launched: Price, specifications, features

The smartphone will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting April 5.

Adding to its long line of Eluga Ray smartphones, Panasonic has launched the new Eluga Ray 550 in India. Priced at Rs 8,999, the smartphone will be up for purchase starting April 5 on Flipkart. It will comes in in Black, Blue and Gold colour options.

The highlight of the smartphone is its AI-based virtual assistant Arbo, which tracks and learns basis a user’s daily activity patterns. The smartphone also comes with features like smart lock, trusted voice and fingerprint sensor for security.

Panasonic Eluga Ray 550 specifications and features

In terms of specifications, the Panasonic Eluga Ray 550 features a 5.7-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. The SoC is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card slot. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

For photography, the Eluga Ray 550 sports a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash at the rear. Up front is an 8-megapixel sensor, which is also accompanied with an LED flash. Fuelling the smartphone is a 3,250mAh battery.

For connectivity, the smartphone supports dual-SIM, 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and micro USB 2.0. It comes with sensors like Accelerometer, Proximity, Ambient Light, Magnetometer and Fingerprint.
