Panasonic has launched two new smartphones in India, called the Eluga Z1 and the Eluga Z1 Pro. The smartphones are priced at Rs 14,490 and Rs 17,490, respectively, and will be going on sale via select retail outlets from October 31. Though there are named different, both smartphones share most of the same specifications and features. The only difference is on the memory front. As far as specifications are concerned, the Panasonic Eluga Z1 and Eluga Z1 Pro flaunt a 6.19-inch display with HD+ (1500×720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. The internal memory onboard the two devices is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.
For photography, the devices feature a dual-camera setup at the back. This setup includes a combination of 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors, accompanied by a LED flash. The rear cameras support real-time bokeh effect, and other features like time lapse, slow motion, beauty mode, and live photos. For selfies, there s an 8-megapixel snapper up front accompanied by a LED flash. The cameras at the back and front are both backed by Artificial Intelligence for better photo quality.
Other features on the smartphones include a 4,000mAh battery, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options like 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB OTG. On the software front, the devices run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
The smartphones also include the ARBO HUB, which the company says, provides users access to multiple apps and services on a single platform and uses Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to make recommendations.
