Panasonic is adding another smartphone to its P-series as it expands its budget offering in the country. The company has launched the Panasonic P85 NXT as a complementary device after the launch of P85. Like all other P-series smartphones, the P85 NXT also comes with Arbo Hub, an AI powered hub that provides access to multiple apps and services on a single platform.

Panasonic P85 NXT: Specifications and Price
Panasonic P85 NXT features a 5-inch display with HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels, and 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass on top. It is powered by Qualcomm‘s quad-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.3GHz, but the company did not mention the model that is being used. There is a possibility that we are looking at a quad-core Snapdragon 400 series SoC, and not more powerful Snapdragon 600 series.
Panasonic has equipped the P85 NXT with 2GB of RAM And 16GB storage and there is support for expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card slot. The imaging duties are handled by an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The dual-SIM smartphone comes with connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 4G LTE.

The Panasonic P85 NXT is backed by a 4,000mAh battery, and it also supports ‘Charging Bank’ feature, which can be used as a power source to charge other devices. The smartphone also comes equipped with face unlock feature, and there is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat, and and supports both VoLTE and ViLTE on Airtel, Vodafone and Reliance Jio. Panasonic is offering the P85 NXT in blue, black and gold finish at Rs 6,999.
