Panasonic has launched a new smartphone called the P99. Priced at Rs 7,490, the smartphone is the latest in the company’s portfolio of affordable smartphones including Eluga Ray 500, Eluga Ray 700, and Eluga I4 launched earlier this month. The Panasonic P99 has an 8-megapixel camera on the rear with LED flash and Auto Focus. Up front, it has a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. Both the front and the rear camera comes with a host of modes such as beauty mode, burst shot mode, night mode for low-light photos, pro mode for manual controls, watermark, HDR and panorama mode. Panasonic P99 Features and Specifications
The P99 smartphone has a 5-inch HD (720p) display and it is powered by a 1.25 GHz quad-core chipset. The smartphone has 2GB of RAM and comes with 16GB of internal storage. You can use the microSD card slot to further expand the storage up to 128 GB. Sadly, the smartphone doesn’t feature a fingerprint scanner. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and thus users will gain access to features such as Google Assistant, split screen for multi-tasking and quick actions. Besides 4G and VoLTE connectivity, the P99 smartphone also supports Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS and AGPS. It is available in three color options – Champagne Gold, Black and Blue.
