Oppo recently launched its flagship smartphone the Oppo Find X. The device with its full screen display and pop-up camera module is a pinnacle in smartphone innovation. However, it looks like Oppo doesn t plan on stopping there. According to a new report, Oppo is working on a smartphone which is likely to carry two screens. Also Read - Good news for iPhone loves! LetsGoDigital reports that WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office) has recently approved an Oppo patent, which suggest a smartphone with two screens. The patent reveals the device to come with a full screen design at the front, which features almost non-existent bezels. This further suggests the phone to offer an impressively high screen-to-body ratio. The front camera also seems to be missing. However, it s the back of the smartphone that is more interesting. Here, the patent showcases a secondary screen placed right next to the dual camera setup. The screen only covers the top portion of the back panel, which means that it wouldn t carry a lot of functionality. It can most likely be used to take selfie pictures from the rear camera. The report suggests there to be an icon, which will allow users to easily switch between the two screens.
Oppo seems a little undecided about the alignment of the dual camera setup. The Chinese manufacture could either be placing the sensors together or on either side of the screen. There is also a third alternative, where the secondary camera could be placed right underneath the screen.
It s also unknown if Oppo plans on using an LCD or and OLED screen on the smartphone. There is a good chance that Oppo might consider using a flexible display, which will allow it to neatly curve the edges of the screen with the ones on the smartphone. The patent also reveals the device to be dust and water resistant.

We re not sure if Oppo will ever consider implementing this kind of design in its smartphone. But given the innovation with the Oppo Find X, having two screens on a smartphone doesn t sound that farfetched.
