Following the recent report by Labor Watch confirming the iPhone 5C in the making at Pegatron’s factory, a Pegatron employee has now posted a photo featuring a bunch of what-is-claimed-to-be the iPhone 5C on Sina Weibo, suggesting that the phone is indeed in the final round of testing in the Shanzhai plant of the company, and hinting it will be unveiled in September.
The photo was posted by a Pegatron employee who is believed to be working under the quality control department in the company. The photo shows a number of white-framed iPhone 5C models being put on charge possibly to test their battery output before these are sealed
First noticed by Engadget, the caption, apparently, also highlights its striking similarity to the Xiaomi Phone 2. It says that “The low-end iPhone 5C to be launched for Chinese consumers in September doesn’t look much different than the Xiaomi Phone 2, right?”
So far, Apple is believed to introduce the iPhone 5C for $400-$500, and launch it as a potential replacement of the iPhone 5. Besides the iPhone 5C, the Cupertino giant is also expected to launch the iPhone 5S.
