Just about every day, telcos come up with new and more exciting offerings to lure new customers (and retain existing ones). For the cellular subscriber, there has never been a better time.
If you’re a prepaid user who needs gigabytes of data and makes innumerable calls a day, there are many plans you can choose from. To help you out, we’ve compared the best-prepaid recharge plans from the three big Indian telecom operators – Vodafone, Reliance Jio, and Airtel – all under Rs 450. Priced at Rs 399, Vodafone’s prepaid plan comes with a validity of 70 days. It offers 1.4GB of 4G data per day, bringing the total data allowance to 98GB. There’s also unlimited calls (local/STD/roaming) included in the mix, although they are capped at 250 minutes/day and 1000 minutes/week. Other benefits include 100 text messages per day, and access to streaming movies and TV shows via Vodafone Play app.

Almost identical to Vodafone’s offering, Reliance Jio’s prepaid recharge plan is the best, provided you have a Jio Prime membership. Priced at Rs 398, it offers 1.5GB of 4G data per day for 84 days, taking the total data benefit to 126GB. There’s also unlimited calls (local/STD/roaming) without any caps, as well as 100 text messages a day. Lastly, subscribers also get complimentary access to Jio’s entire suite of apps.
As one would expect, Airtel’s offering is the priciest of the three major telcos. Priced at Rs 419, it comes with a validity of 75 days and offers 1.4GB of 4G data per day, bringing the total data allowance to 105GB. The plan also includes unlimited calls (local/STD/roaming) without any restrictions, 100 free text messages a day, as well as access to streaming movies and TV shows.
