The best part is that the feature works offline as well. You do not need an internet connection to use this feature. The offline mode for Prisma was rolled out in late August for iOS users and the videos have the offline mode feature as well. Just like how it works with photos, you can also choose videos which have already been saved on your smartphone. Even though Prisma did take some time in rolling out the videos feature on its app, it ensured it is as good as other applications. Why so, because it also has the mute option which already exists in apps like Instagram and Snapchat. Prisma along with Pok mon GO will be recorded as one of the biggest internet trends of 2016. According to a report, Prisma hit 10 million downloads in just a month of its launch. The app was developed by a Russian company called Prisma labs Inc. It uses deep learning or an artificial intelligence to add filters on the photos. Though the enthusiasm for both Prisma and Pokemon Go has faded in last few weeks. The latest addition of video editing feature is likely to further help Prisma gain more popularity. As mentioned earlier, Prisma had become insanely popular among iOS users shortly after being released. Looking at the massive demand, the app was rolled out to Android users. But, perhaps the developers didn’t anticipate such heavy load on their services, causing the Android app to crash just hours after its launch. A lot of iOS and Android users complained about the app not functioning smoothly. Even just today, when trying to use Prisma on Android, it crashed again flashing the message Prisma is over capacity . So, it is most likely that when the videos feature on Prisma for Android rolls out, users may continue to face some difficulties.
