There s been quite a bit of buzz around Sony s forthcoming flagship called the Xperia i1 aka Honami, which will sport a massive 20-megapixel camera. After seeing purported photos of the device, and screenshots of the camera UI, tech blog GadgetHelpline have now posted a set of real-life photos of the flagship device. The above photos are consistent with previously leaked photos and show the device following the same Omnibalance design language as other recent Xperia devices. On the side of the device is the now familiar silver power button along with a camera button and on the bottom there is a speaker grille.
Though the report doesn t reveal any new specifications, from what we know so far the Honami is said to feature a 5-inch or thereabouts display, Snapdragon 800 chipset, 32GB of expandable internal storage, S-Master MX Mobile Audio Amplifier and a 3,000mAh battery with an improved STAMINA mode.
The camera is also said to feature a 20-megapixel rear camera with 2/3 Exmor RS sensor, Xenon flash, Mobile BIONZ image processing, Cyber-shot camera UI and a 2.2-megapixel camera at the front. On the software front, the device will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean under a new Xperia UI.
