In the past few weeks, rumor mills have been busy churning out leaked photos, specs and videos of features for the forthcoming Moto X. Last week, Google’s executive chairman was pictured using the phone, which was the clearest ever sign that the phone is almost ready to be launched. Besides showing the device in black and unicorn white color variants, the press renders do not reveal anything new. If the black and white variants are not to your liking, earlier leaks have indicated that Motorola will let users customize their devices online before buying them with multiple colored back panel and etched messages among others. From what have been leaked so far, the Moto X is said to feature 4.7-inch display, 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon MSM8960 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, 10-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel secondary camera, 2,200mAh battery and 16GB of internal memory.
The launch date for the Moto X has also been revealed, as Engadget reports that they have been sent invitations by Motorola for a launch event on August 1.
