According to the leakster, this device will sport a 4.5-inch qHD (960×540 pixels) IPS display and will be powered by 1GHz dual-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Other features that are likely to be included are 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, 4GB of internal storage (no word on a microSD card slot) and a 1,760mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support and on the software front, it is likely to run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
To recap, this device will be the first device from Micromax to boast IP67 certification, which will make it waterproof and dustproof. Users will apparently be able to the device underwater to a maximum of a meter for a period of 30 minutes. These are the features you would normally associate with the high-end smartphones from Sony.
There is still no word about a price or when Micromax plans on launching the device.
