Google‘s 17 days of Doodle Snow Games draws to a close tonight. The daily doodle dose started alongside the official PyeongChang Winter Olympics 2018 in South Korea. Through the entire duration, Google’s global homepages were adorned each day with an animated doodle showcasing one or the other popular sport, albeit played by creatures of the animal world. “The Doodle Snow Games wrap up tonight under the moonlight, with cooing and barking heard across the mountain as our tuckered-out athletes and fans enjoy their last evening together,” Google writes in its doodle blog. The animated doodles highlighted some of the most loved sporting events including figure skating, ice hockey, skiing, and snowboarding. Today’s animated doodle, which is the last in the Doodle Snow Games series, shows Magpie – the feathered host- perched atop a tree as other animals including bear, penguin, and squirrel watching fireworks as the sun goes down.
