Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 launch
Successor to the Snapdragon 835, Qualcomm is expected to launch the next-gen Snapdragon 845 chipset. A leaked invite reveals that the Snapdragon 845 chipset will be unveiled at the Snapdragon Technology Summit in Hawaii during December 4-8. According to past rumors, the Snapdragon 845 chipset will be made on the 10nm FinFET process, and will feature four ARM Cortex A75 cores, and four Cortex A53 cores. For graphics, the Snapdragon 845 could be equipped with Adreno 630 GPU.
HTC smartphone launch teaser
HTC has an event scheduled for November 2 where it will unveil a new smartphone. All rumors and leaks point to the launch of the U11 Plus and U11 Life. HTC s teaser posted today on Twitter show a very slight glimpse of a smartphone with almost no bezels on the sides and no home button either. The teaser is in line with what has been leaked so far. The HTC U11 Plus is expected to feature a 6-inch WQHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. With the launch only two days away, we ll get to know very soon what HTC has in store.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 price cut
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 was launched earlier this year at Rs 14,999 for the 4GB plus 32GB variant, and Rs 16,999 for the 4GB plus 64GB model. Xiaomi officially reduced the prices to Rs 13,999 for the 32GB model, and Rs 14,999 for the 64GB variant. The smartphone is available to purchase at the discounted prices on mi.com and Flipkart as well.
Airtel Celkon Smart 4G smartphone launch
As part of its Mera Pehla 4G Smartphone , Airtel has launched the Celkon Smart 4G smartphone at an effective price of Rs 1,349. The smartphone has to be purchased at Rs 2,849 initially and after making 36 continuous recharges of Airtel s Rs 169 plan, you will be entitled to refunds. On completion of 36 months, you will get a total of Rs 1,500 refund bringing the price of the smartphone down to Rs 1,349. Alternatively you can also recharge any other Airtel plan for 36 months but it should amount to Rs 6,000 in total.
Nokia smartphone launch
HMD Global has an event scheduled tomorrow in India where it will launch the next Nokia smartphone. It is speculated that the Nokia 7 or HMD Global s entry-level Nokia 2 smartphone will be unveiled tomorrow. The unreleased Nokia 2 is rumored to come with an HD display, Snapdragon 212 SoC, 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It is also rumored to house a massive 4,000mAh battery. The Nokia 7, on the other hand, is HMD Global s first smartphone with a glass body, and also comes with the Bothie camera feature. The Nokia 7 has a 5.2-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 630 SoC, 4G/6GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. It sports a 16-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera.
