Prabhu today announced that select Shatabdi trains are set to get on-board entertainment systems. While details are non-existent, these entertainment systems could be a set of TV screens installed in the train passages for passengers. Other passenger benefits announced today include SMS alerts for passengers, as well as an all-India 24×7 helpline number for railways. Soon 138 will be functional and will attend to the problems of passengers.
