Official renders of the upcoming smartphone from the gaming hardware and peripheral maker Razer, the Razer Phone 2 have leaked out on the internet. The renders reveal a number of things including the somewhat similar design that the device will sport when compared to the original Razer Phone. Overall, in terms of the dimensions of the device, the Razer Phone 2 will be similar to the original. However, it looks like the company has changed the place of the camera by moving it to the middle of the device rather than the top left corner along with the layout of the sensors. Noted tipster Evan Blass posted the renders on his official Twitter handle confirming that Razer is not going for a radical redesign. This means that the front of the device will come with the front-facing speaker grills on the top and bottom of the display. One thing that Blass confirmed was that the Razer logo on the back of the device will light up as it does in the Razer laptops. The device will come with a high refresh rate display similar to the original version. It is likely that the company may not opt for an OLED display. This render comes weeks after the official invite for the launch event was spotted on the internet. As previously reported, the device is set to launch in Hollywood on October 10.
According to previous reports, the company officially confirmed that it is developing the device earlier this month. The announcement came after the earnings results for the company. The company is likely to aim at its competition including the Black Shark by Xiaomi, Honor Play by Huwaei and the ROG Phone by Asus.
