If a new leak is to be believed, the next-generation Razer Phone will be launching on October 10. But quite disappointingly, a leak suggests that the rumored Razer Phone 2 will look a lot like the phone it is succeeding.
The folks at Android Headlines got hold of alleged renders of the Razer Phone 2 from a reliable source . This render shows the front panel of the upcoming smartphone, and there is no denying how similar it looks to the original Razer Phone.
Since the launch of the Razer Phone, the smartphone world has moved on to edge-to-edge displays with little to no bezels on the side. It seems like Razer s designers didn t get the memo, and the design looks quite dated. Then again the Razer Phone is a very niche product, and the focus is more on offering an immersive gaming experience over anything else.
As mentioned, the Razer Phone 2 will reportedly launch on October 10, which is less than a year since the Razer Phone launch. A few of the smartphone s specifications and features have been confirmed via the company s executives or benchmarking websites.

Razer Phone 2 expected specifications, features
The smartphone is expected to feature a 16:9 aspect ratio display with QHD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. As per a recent Geekbench listing, the Razer Phone 2 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM.
There will potentially be 512GB of internal storage, which will be similar to what is offered by the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, and the new Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. Making sure everything ticks will be a 4,000mAh battery.
A recent leak claimed that the Razer Phone 2 will boast LED lights for notification alerts. Not surprisingly, the leaked renders do not show any such lights.
