IT hardware and manufacturing company RDP has just announced the launch of its latest product in the market, the “ThinBook”. This laptop comes with an 11.6-inch screen, and though pricing hasn’t been revealed yet, the company claims that it is “most affordable laptop” in the market at the time of writing.
Talking about the hardware of the device, the company says that the laptop comes with an 11.6-inch screen with IPS screen with a panel with HD (1366×768 pixels) resolution. The laptop is powered by an Intel quad-core x5-Z8350 processor that can reach 1.92GHz clock speed under “burst frequency”. RDP has also added 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and Intel HD 400 integrated graphics.
The company will also offer what it claims as “DIY Model” along with an optional slot for an additional hard disk drive (HDD) or solid state drive (SSD). Regular model will also come with Intel 440 graphics. On the software side of things, the laptop will come with Windows 10 out-of-the-box. RDP claims that the device can offer up to “more than” 10 hours of battery back up on “mixed usage”.

Mr. Vikram Redlappali, the Founder and CEO for RDP issued a statement at the launch of the new laptop, “We are delighted to launch India’s most stylish and slimmest laptop – 11.6-inch ThinBook.”
He went on to add, “RDP has always focused on affordability in the interest of masses – entrepreneurs & students, but has never shied away from quality. We are looking forward for more product launches in the coming days to provide affordable computing solutions for everyone.”
