The Realme 2 is all set to go on sale on September 4, priced at Rs 8,990. The phone is the successor to the Realme 1, which was launched earlier this year. Realme is a sub-brand of Oppo, and was launched with the aim of capturing the online market, which is currently dominated by Xiaomi in the budget segment. Buyers of the Realme 2 can get an additional Rs 750 off if they use an HDFC Bank Credit or Debit card to make the purchase on Flipkart, during the sale tomorrow. If you do so, you will receive a flat discount of Rs 750 on the purchase, thereby making the cost of the phone Rs 8,240, down from Rs 8,990. The offer is only applicable if you use HDFC Bank cards, and other payment methods will have the phone priced at its full price.
Apart from this, there are other offers applicable to buyers, including Rs 2,200 cash back for Jio users in the form of recharge vouchers, or Rs 2,000 on booking flight tickets through Paytm or purchases on Lenskart. Apart from this, Jio users also get 120GB of additional data on purchase of the phone. Buyers opting for no-cost EMI will also get the discount on HDFC cards, but as a cash back credited later. No-cost EMI is available for buyers on various cards from other banks as well.
