Realme XT cameras detailed
The highlight of the Realme XT is that it is the first smartphone to feature a 64-megapixel quad camera setup. It is the Samsung GW1 camera sensor that the company recently unveiled. It has 38 percent more pixels than a 48-megapixel sensor. The primary sensor is a 64-megapixel shooter with f/1.8 aperture. The remaining three cameras include an 8-megapixel sensor with ultra-wide-angle lens, and two 2-megapixel sensors – a macro and portrait camera. Upfront is a 16-megapixel selfie snapper. Specifications and features
With the name Realme XT, one would expect the smartphone to be a successor to the Realme X. However, it is a completely different product altogether. Coming to specifications, the smartphone features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop-style notch. This also enables Realme to add an in-display fingerprint scanner. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There are two more variants with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. The phone will be offered in Silver Wing White and Pearl Blue color options. There is no word on the pricing, but the Realme XT is set to go on sale in China next month.
Meanwhile, even Xiaomi is all set to launch its 64-megapixel camera smartphone in China. Two phones, Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro are expected to launch. Alongside that, Redmi TV is also expected to launch.
