Xiaomi made its debut in the US earlier this year, but has only been selling its accessories. A recent WSJ report claims that after its success in India, the company is now eyeing the US market. While details are scarce, a leak may have revealed the first smartphone that could be launched in the US.
A Xiaomi smartphone, dubbed Redmi 2 Pro, has been spotted on FCC (Federal Communications Commission), hinting that it could be the first handset to launch in the US. As far as the specifications are concerned, the smartphone seems to be similar (if not the same) to the made-in-India Redmi 2 Prime, which launched in August.
Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro specifications and features: The smartphone is said to feature a 4.7-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display and a Snapdragon 410 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM.
