Reliance Industries to start 4G trials in Jamnagar: Report

It seems like Mukesh Ambani s Reliance Industries is slated to to start trials for its 4G network based on LTE technology in April in its Jamnagar complex if a report from Daily News and Analysis is to be believed. Only last month, Reliance announced that it would start trials for a 4G network with the hub being Nagpur. Notably, only Reliance Industries via its subsidiary Infotel Broadband services has secured spectrum for 4G in all the circles. Airtel, Aircel, Tikona and Qualcomm don t enjoy such 4G ubiquity. While Airtel has only won the rights for Maharashtra, Kolkata, Karnataka and Punjab, Qualcomm enjoys rights for Delhi, Mumbai, Kerala and Haryana. On the other hand Aircel enjoys a substantial market Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Bihar, Orrisa, Assam, the North East and J&K. Tikona has also managed decent amount of circles which include Gujarat, UP, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh.
