This was followed by Summer Surprise offer with three months complimentary access on recharge of Rs 303 and above. The plan, however came under TRAI s scanner, Jio had to withdraw it as it wasn t in line with regulatory framework. Now, Reliance Jio has come up with another offer called Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan, with three months unlimited usage (84 days from the day of recharge). The offer is not very different from the earlier Summer Surprise, but there are some changes in the amount of recharge that one needs to do. To begin with, you must be a Prime member to become eligible to avail the benefits of Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer. In case you are not a Prime member, you need to recharge your Jio number with Rs 99. After becoming a Prime member, you can go for Rs 309 recharge, which gives you benefits of 1GB high-speed 4G data daily, after which speed will be throttled to 128Kbps. With Summer Surprise, this plan was priced at Rs 303. The other plan is priced at Rs 509, which gives you benefits of 2GB high-speed 4G data daily, after which the speed will be throttled to 128Kbps. With Summer Surprise, this was previously priced at Rs 499. Also, while Summer Surprise offer was valid till April 15, there is no word on up to when can the Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer be availed. In case you end up exhausting the daily quota, there are data booster plans starting at Rs 11 for 100MB of data and go up to Rs 301 for 10GB of data. The booster plans have the same validity as your base pack, and the additional data only kicks in when your daily data limit is exhausted. Interestingly, at the time of filing this story, Reliance Jio website only has one plan priced at Rs 149 with 2GB high-speed 4G data and 300 SMS per month. The pack comes with a validity of 28 days. In case of non-Prime members, the data benefit is just 1GB for 28 days.
