After offering free services to its customers for over six months, Reliance Jio introduced Prime membership plan with a validity of one-year earlier this year in April. It was followed by Summer Surprise and Dhan Dhana Dhan offer. The plans offered special benefits to Jio subscribers with a validity of three months. The same three-month period is about to end later this month, at least for those who subscribed early. If you’re one of them, here’s what you need to know.
The Summer Surprise offer was introduced in early April with two core plans priced at Rs 303 (with 1GB daily data) and Rs 499 (with 2GB daily data). However, as the offer was not in line with the regulatory framework, Jio had to withdraw it, and come up with Dhan Dhana Dhan offer with a validity of 84 days.
The Dhan Dhana Dhan offer was introduced with two plans – the Rs 309 plan with 1GB daily high-speed data and Rs 509 plan with daily 2GB high-speed data. If you were one of the early adopters to subscribe to this plan, the validity will end somewhere around July 19 to July 29. While Jio might introduce new plans with exciting benefits, there’s currently no buzz around the same. In that case, you will have to go with a subsequent recharge to continue enjoy the existing benefits. Let’s look at how to check the validity of your existing plan, available recharges and more.
