In order to give its users more variety in short-term affordable plans, Idea Cellular has introduced a range of six new Active Recharges that start at Rs 25, and go all the way up to Rs 245. The plans are currently available for subscribers based in UP West, Punjab and Tamil Nadu. The Active Recharges start with the Rs 25 pack, with Rs 18 worth of talk time along with 10MB of data. The pack is followed by a Rs 35 pack, which comes with a talk time of Rs 26 and 100MB worth of data. Both plans have a validity of 28 days. It is worth noting that the local, STD and landline call rates for UP and Punjab are 1 paise per second, while for Tamil Nadu it is 60 paise per minute.
Next are two plans – the Rs 65 plan which offers a talk time of Rs 65 and 200MB data, and the Rs 95 plan with a talk time of 94 and bundled data of 500MB. Both plans again carry a validity of 28 days. With the Rs 94 plan, the local, STD and landline call rates for Tamil Nadu and Punjab are valued at 30 paise per minute while for UP it is 1 paise per 2 second.

Above the Rs 100 threshold, Idea is offering two Active Recharges priced at Rs 145 and Rs 245. The Rs 145 plan offers a talk time of Rs 145 along with 1GB data and is valid for up to Rs 42 days. Lastly, you have the Rs 245 plan which offers a talk time of Rs 245 with 2GB of mobile data. Compared to the previous plan it is valid for twice the period, which is 84 days. The local, STD and landline calls for Tamil Nadu and Punjab are valued at 30 paise per minute, whereas for UP it is 1 paise per 2 second.
