Tata Docomo, which has been offering services in collaboration with Bharti Airtel has unveiled a new plan with aggressive benefits to take on Reliance Jio, and other incumbent telecom operators. The new prepaid plan from Tata Docomo is priced at Rs 148, and it comes with 28 days validity. Among the benefits, users get 2GB 3G data that is valid through 28 days, unlimited calls, unlimited roaming, and 100 SMS per day. In comparison, Reliance Jio has a plan priced at Rs 98, offering unlimited calls, 300 SMS, 28 days validity, and 2GB 4G data. Vodafone has a plan priced at Rs 196 with 28 days validity, unlimited local and national calling, and 1GB 3G/4G data. Lastly, Airtel also has a plan priced at Rs 99, which offers 1GB data for 10 days, and comes with unlimited local and national calls, along with 100 SMS per day. Besides the Rs 148 prepaid plan (spotted by TelecomTalk), Tata Docomo also has three more plans that offer unlimited local and national calls, unlimited roaming, and 100 free SMS per day. Also, all three plans offer 1.4GB daily 3G data. The only thing that changes in these plans is the validity.
The first plan is priced at Rs 179 and comes with 28 days validity, the second plan is priced at Rs 349 and offers 56 days validity, whereas the third plan is priced at Rs 499 and offers 90 days validity. There is one more plan priced at Rs 229 offering 35 days validity and 1.4GB daily data.
