Vodafone Rs 279 prepaid plan offers unlimited calls, 84 days validity, and more

Up until now, Vodafone was offering 84 days validity with prepaid recharge plans starting at Rs 399.

Vodafone has introduced its cheapest long validity plan for prepaid subscribers in select circles. The new plan is priced at Rs 279, which offers unlimited voice calls, messages with TRAI’s weekly cap and fixed 4GB 3G / 4G data along with 84 days validity.

Vodafone also has two other long-term (84 days) validity plans for prepaid users, but these start from Rs 399. The Rs 279 plan offers almost three months validity, however, you won’t get unlimited data under this plan. As reported by TelecomTalk, the new Rs 279 Vodafone prepaid plan will only be available in select circles such as Karnataka, Mumbai and few others.

Besides Vodafone, no other competitor is offering long-term (84 days) validity under Rs 300 at this point. Reliance Jio‘s 84-day validity plans also start from Rs 348.

Recently, Vodafone had rolled out two new plans for its prepaid subscribers priced at Rs 99 and Rs 109. Both plans offer a validity of 28 days, along with unlimited calling benefit. The Rs 99 plan doesn’t offer any 3G/4G data in 28 days, however, the Rs 109 plan will provide 1GB of 3G/4G data.

Airtel also has a similar Rs 99 prepaid plan which offers unlimited local and national calling, 100 local and national SMS, and 1GB 3G/4G data. Although the validity of this plan is only 10 days. BSNL also has a plan priced at Rs 99 with 26 days validity, which offers unlimited voice calls to any network across India, expect for Mumbai and Delhi circles.
