Reliance Jio is credited with changing the landscape of the mobile network industry in India, thanks to its enabling heavy data usage thanks to its affordable 4G plans. Currently, if you’re on Jio prepaid, you can get access to unlimited data, with usage caps only set on high-speed usage. The daily usage plans have data offerings that currently vary from 1.5GB per day to 5GB per day, with calling within local networks completely free and unlimited along with 100 SMS per day.
However, if you don’t want to work with the daily data cap or having to recharge your connection every few weeks, Reliance Jio offers long-term plans as well. Voice calling on all of these plans is completely free for local as well as national (STD) calls, and the free usage applies even when roaming within India on Jio’s network. Additionally, all of these plans also offer 100 SMS per day, with the differences being in the validity and data offerings. Take a look at the Reliance Jio long term prepaid plans below.
Rs 999 plan
This is the most affordable long-term plan, and offers 90 days of validity and 60GB of 4G mobile data usage. After exhausting the high-speed data, usage remains unlimited for the validity of the plan, however the speed is throttled to 64kbps. While the monthly cost of this plan comes to roughly Rs 333, the advantage is that there is no daily usage limit; you are free to use as much data as you like per day, with the remaining being available for the whole validity. Thus, you could use all 60GB in a single day, if you choose, with no speed throttling until the full quote is used up. The average allowance per day comes to about 666MB.
Rs 1,999 plan
This plan offers a validity of 180 days, with a high-speed data allowance of 125GB. There is no daily usage limit, giving the user flexibility on how to use the high-speed allowance. The cost similarly comes to about Rs 333 per month, with about 694MB available to use per day on average.
Rs 4,999 plan
This plan comes with 360 days of validity, offering 350GB of high-speed data usage. As above, there is no daily usage limit, giving the user flexibility of usage. The cost comes to about Rs 416 per month, with an average daily data allowance of about 972MB.

Rs 9,999 plan
The most expensive long-term plan from Reliance Jio gives you 360 days of validity and 750GB of high-speed usage. The cost comes to around Rs 833 per month, with an average daily data usage of 2.08GB. While the plan does seem expensive for a plan that offers the same 2GB a day usage at over five times the price of the regular plan, the important thing to remember here is that this plan offers the most flexibility of usage. Therefore, users could choose to use more high-speed data on particular days and less on other days, thereby giving more usage when needed.
