Samsung has revealed its new ISOCELL camera modules that come with technologies such as Tetracell and Smart WDR to enhance image results. The first product in the new ISOCELL lineup is ISOCELL Bright, which uses Samsung s Tetracell technology to improve light sensitivity. Next in the new ISOCELL series is a three-stack fast readout sensor called ISOCELL Fast. It allows full-HD (1080p) video recording at 480fps. The ISOCELL Slim, meanwhile, is a 24-megapixel high-resolution sensor that s thin and small , with a tiny 0.9-micron pixel size. Samsung also revealed ISOCELL Dual, a camera sensor that supports features such as optical zoom, low-light shots, and bokeh adjustment. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 India launch details
In a tweet, Xiaomi product PR representative hinted that the next month will see announcements for the Indian market. While it is still not clear as to what products the company will launch in India, rumors suggest the launch of the Redmi 5 Plus. However, Xiaomi is also expected to re-brand the Redmi 5 Plus as Redmi Note 5 in India. As the name suggests, Redmi Note 5 will be the successor to last year’s Redmi Note 4, which was also India’s most selling smartphone for three consecutive quarters.
Lenovo Yoga 920 convertible notebook launched in India
Lenovo has added a new member to its Yoga series with the launch of the premium notebook in India. Called, Yoga 920 Vibes, the notebook is priced at Rs 1,27,150. The laptop was first announced earlier at IFA 2017 in Berlin. The Yoga 920 features a 13.9-inch 4K UHD IPS display with thin 5mm vertical bezels.
The Lenovo Yoga 920 is powered by an 8th-generation Intel Kaby Lake Core i7 chipset coupled with 16GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB SSD storage and integrated graphics. It comes with Dolby ATMOS-enabled JBL speakers that give a 360-degree surround sound in 3D audio space. The Yoga 920 features two Thunderbolt USB-C ports that support fast charging.
Xbox One X launched in India
Microsoft today launched the Xbox One X in India. Claimed to be world’s most powerful console to bring immersive 4K gaming and 4K entertainment, the console is priced at Rs 44,990.
The Xbox One X will be available online on the Microsoft India store, Amazon India, and Flipkart. It will also be available from Landmark and Croma retail stores and over 100 gaming specialty stores in India. The device comes with features including 4K gaming, a built-in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player, 4K streaming capabilities, High Dynamic Range (HDR) support for gaming, video, and audio with Dolby Atmos support.
The Xbox One X comes with 8GB flash memory, and 1TB internal storage, along with a massive 12GB GDDR5 graphics memory.
Xiaomi Republic Day sale
Xiaomi will be conducting its Republic Day sale on Mi.com with offers on various products including mobile phones, audio accessories, power banks to name a few. The sale will begin on January 24 and will conclude on January 26.
The sale will commence at 12:00 AM (midnight) on January 24. There are no cost EMI options available on the purchase of the smartphone, along with an Airtel offer where you can avail up to 200GB additional 4G data. An open sale for Redmi 5A will be held during the sale period.
Reliance Jio Republic Day plan
Reliance Jio today announced its Republic Day plans, which offers Rs 50 discount on packs, or 50 percent more data on its plans. With the new offer, all existing 1GB per day pack are enhanced to 1.5GB per day, and are priced Rs 50 less than usual. Similarly, the 1.5GB per day packs will not get 2GB data per day. The company has also introduced an entry price pack priced at Rs 98 with the validity of 28 days and 2GB data.
