For the past week or two we have been seeing a steady trickle of rumors regarding Apple s cheaper iPhone. Now, having sort of compiled all the rumors together, MacRumors for the first time visualizes how the entry-level iPhones are likely to look through a series of rendered photos. The renderings show a device that looks quite similar to the iPhone 5. Dimensions-wise though the device is slightly thicker at 8.5mm and looks a little taller and wider due to the rear plastic panel, which will be offered in a range of color variants. Instead of the round-shaped volume button this device is likely to feature squarish buttons and the bottom of the device will sport the audio jack, mic and the speakers.
The report doesn t add to what we know of the device in terms of specifications. The rumors suggest that the cheaper iPhone will feature a 3.5-inch display, an A5 chipset and a 5-megapixel camera.
We should remind you that these are only rendered photos designed using what little information is available on the Internet. There are likely to be a lot of changes to them by the time Apple finally unveils the device.
