Here’s another addition to Samsung Galaxy S lll’s countless leaks and this one points towards the fact that this upcoming smartphone will support wireless charging tech. This concept of wireless charging is different from those inductive charging mats which have been there for quite sometime in the market. Talking about the universality of this tech, the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) is setting a global standard in wireless charging, which means universal wireless adapters and devices can even act as chargers, provided they have a transmitter coil in them. There are many smartphone vendors such as LG, HTC and Motorola who have already registered themselves with the WPC and are likely to implement this tech into their devices in near future.
