Despite promising to be on all promising smartphone OS platforms, Samsung has not launched any Windows Phone devices after launching the Omnia W. However, a few reports are claiming that the vendor is planning to announce three new Windows Phone devices by the end of this year out of which two of them will run on Apollo and the third one will be based on Tango. For now, all we know is that this Tango device is codenamed as Mandel and will most likely feature 4G LTE connectivity. For those who don’t know, Tango is meant to support cheaper and low-cost handsets (products with best prices ) and Apollo on the other hand would offer support for dual-core processors and HD screens, thanks to a leaked Windows Phone timeline. History has it that Samsung likes to implement the same industrial design in two models belonging to two different platforms. It is quite possible that one of these Windows Phone devices might look exactly like the Samsung Galaxy S III. Of course, the third generation Galaxy S device will be launched prior to these Windows Phone handsets an announcement is likely to happen on May 22 according to earlier reports. Stay tuned!
