Rumors about Samsung’s next offering, the Galaxy S4 Zoom, which has a massive 16-megapixel camera have been picking up pace in the last week or two. After the specs for the rumored device leaked online last week, a sample photo supposedly clicked by the Galaxy S4 Zoom has surfaced online, posted by a guy named Shahriar Hossain, who seems to work for Samsung Electronics Limited in Bangladesh. Looking at the above photo, the quality of the picture is quite decent with good sharpness and details. If you look at its EXIF tags, the photo seems to have been shot at 24mm focal length with an aperture of F8.8. The photo also shows its height and width being 1920 and 1080 respectively, which is a little strange as an HD photo is normally much bigger in size.
From what we know of the Galaxy S4 Zoom so far, the device will be sporting a massive 16-megapixel camera similar to the one seen on the Galaxy Camera, a 4.3-inch qHD SAMOLED display, 8GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 64GB and connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and A-GPS. On the software front, the device is expected to run on Android Jelly Bean wrapped in Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature UX interface.
In terms of a launch date, the device is expected to be launched around June or July.
