Starting with the ATIV Book 9 Plus, Samsung packs in a 3200×1800 pixel 13.3-inch multitouch display, an Intel core i5 Haswell processor, 8GB of RAM, and an 256GB SSD drive. Like the new 13-inch MacBook Air, Samsung also claims an impressive 12 hour battery life and all this firepower is available in a package that weighs just 1.39kg and is 13.6mm thick at its widest point. The ATIV Book 9 Lite on the other hand is a more affordable offering which also offers a 13.3-inch multitouch display but offers a more standard resolution of 1366×768 pixels. This product is powered by an AMD A6 quad-core CPU, 4GB of RAM and up to 256GB of SSD storage. On this laptop, Samsung claims a battery life of 8.5 hours, which too is not bad. As usual both are products are powered by Windows 8 and Samsung will bundle SideSync app on both the products that will allow users to drag and drop files between their desktops and their Galaxy smartphones.
