New rumors of Samsung’s latest endeavors show that the company is about to add to its premium Galaxy A series. This upcoming smartphone, according to Sammobile, is the new Galaxy A6+. Now we had see some renders of the Galaxy A6+ previously, which featured Samsung’s own cases for the phone. And now we have got a look of the smartphone without the cover thanks to a Techtastic report.
Without the case we have been able to make out that the Galaxy A6+ will feature a metal unibody display and a matte texture on the back. With the covers off, the rear panel also shows the antenna lines on the top and bottom in the form of arches. The dual-camera setup on the back is similar to that of the Galaxy S9.
The renders indicate that the smartphone will have dual sim tray and a microSD card slot on the left of the device, which is a very wise move from Samsung.
From the previous renders itself we know that the phone will sport an Infinity display. The Galaxy A6+ is expected to be 8.3mm thick, and feature a 6-inch display in the 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The Galaxy A6+ is expected to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7870 SoC, an octa-core CPU based on 14nm architecture along with 4GB of RAM.
Sammobile reports that the Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ smartphones will be launched in Europe, Russia and the Middle East. It also notes that at least the Galaxy A6 will be unveiled soon since the smartphone has appeared on the support page of Samsung’s website.
