Samsung had launched the Galaxy A series last year with the smartphones like the Galaxy A3 (2016), Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016). Over the last few months, Samsung has expanded the series with new smartphones. The Galaxy A series sits between Samsung’s premium Galaxy S series and budget J series. Now, Samsung is reportedly going to add a new member to its A series of phones. Rumored as the Galaxy A7 (2017), the smartphone has been spotted on benchmarking website Geekbench. The smartphone was previously spotted on benchmarking website GFXBench, Indian import/export website Zauba and even on the website of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). The Geekbench listing, as spotted by mysmartprice, shows a score 751 for single core and 4071 for multi cores. The Galaxy A3 (2017) was spotted with the model number SM-A320F on Geekbench website. Going by the listing, the smartphone will come with a 1.59GHz octa-core Samsung Exynos 7870 chipset based on 14nm FinFET process. One thing worth noticing is that the Galaxy A3 (2016) never made it to the Indian market. But, the Zauba listing for the Galaxy A3 (2017) hints at possible India launch.
