The support page lists the device along with the model number ‘SM-A315F/DS’. The page was first spotted by the folks at MSP. It however doesn’t reveal anything about the upcoming device. As per the listing, the upcoming Galaxy A31 will sport a MediaTek Helio P65 SoC under the hood. Accompanying the chipset will be 4GB of RAM. These mid-range specs result in a score of 349 in single-core tests, and 1,291 in multi-core tests.
Other rumored features include up to 128GB storage, and a large 5,000mAh battery. Samsung is likely to stick to the 15W charging support as seen on the smartphone’s predecessor. The Galaxy A31 is also likely to feature a triple-camera setup at the back. This setup could include a 48-megapixel primary camera, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the software front, the device will run Android 10-based OneUI out-of-the-box.
