At an event in China, Samsung launched two smartphones in the Galaxy A-series. One is the Galaxy A9s, which is nothing but a rebranded version of the Galaxy A9 that was launched earlier this month in Malaysia. The highlight of the smartphone is its quad-camera setup at the back. Along with the Galaxy A9s, the company also unveiled the Galaxy A6s, which is Samsung s first ODM device. Now, a lot of you may be wondering as to what is ODM. The full form of ODM is Original Design Manufacturer, the one who designs and manufactures device as specified by other firms. For instance, BlackBerry branded smartphones are manufactured by TCL, whereas Nokia branded design are made by HMD Global. According to a report on SamMobile, the Galaxy A6s is priced at RMB 1,799 (approximately Rs 19,000) for 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, and RMB 2,199 (approximately Rs 24,200) for 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.

Samsung Galaxy A6s specifications and features
The smartphone flaunts a 6-inch FHD+ display that runs at a resolution of 2160 1080pixels, and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM, and you can choose between 64GB or 128GB storage options.
In the photography department, you get dual cameras at the back – one is a 12-megapixel sensor and the other is a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Up front, you have a 12-megapixel selfie snapper. To keep things ticking, there is a 3,300mAh battery. Connectivity options include USB Type-C port, dual SIM card slots with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi and GPS. The smartphone runs on Android Oreo OS with Samsung Experience UI on top.
