At an event in China, Samsung launched two smartphones in the Galaxy A-series. One is the Galaxy A9s, which is nothing but a rebranded version of the Galaxy A9 that was launched earlier this month in Malaysia. The highlight of the smartphone is its quad-camera setup at the back. Along with the Galaxy A9s, the company also unveiled the Galaxy A6s, which is Samsung s first ODM device.

Now, a lot of you may be wondering as to what is ODM. The full form of ODM is Original Design Manufacturer, the one who designs and manufactures device as specified by other firms. For instance, BlackBerry branded smartphones are manufactured by TCL, whereas Nokia branded design are made by HMD Global. In Samsung s case, the manufacturer is potentially Wintech, the same ODM that makes Xiaomi phones.

According to a report on SamMobile, the Galaxy A6s is priced at RMB 1,799 (approximately Rs 19,000) for 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, and RMB 2,199 (approximately Rs 24,200) for 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.
