Samsung is going big with its mid-range smartphones to take on the growing competition from Chinese players. A new leak all but confirms that an upcoming mid-range device from the South Korean giant will boast a triple-camera setup at the back.
Leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) have surfaced online courtesy of GalaxyClub.nl. The renders show the upcoming device from all possible angles. The highlight of the device is the vertically aligned three camera sensors at the back. Another thing to note is the presence of a fingerprint sensor placed on the right side edge. This seems like a design aspect we are going to be seeing in some of the upcoming mid-range devices from Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) rumored specifications and features
The smartphone was recently spotted on Geekbench, which gave us a glimpse at its specifications and features. It is expected to feature a 6-inch full HD+ Infinity Display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

Under the hood could be an Exynos 7885 SoC or a Snapdragon chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. On the software front, the device is expected to run Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung Experience UI on top.
There is no word on when Samsung plans on launching the Galaxy A7 (2018). In the meanwhile, the company is gearing up for an event on October 11, where it is rumored to launch a smartphone with four cameras. If the rumors are to be believed, this device could be called the Galaxy A9 Pro.
