A full-blown teaser page has gone live on Flipkart, signalling the imminent arrival of Samsung s Galaxy A7 (2018), with the smartphone set to land in India today. After the Galaxy A8+ (2018) and the Galaxy A8 Star, this would be Samsung’s third A-series smartphone to launch in the country this year. It s clear that the chaebol is serious about highly-competitive upper mid-range price segment, which is dominated by the likes of OnePlus. Coming back to the smartphone, the teaser page on Flipkart all but confirms that the Galaxy A7 (2018) will be exclusive to the Indian e-tailer. It also hints at some of the smartphone s key features, such as improved low-light camera performance, and the ability to turn selfies into emojis.
It s worth mentioning that the smartphone was unveiled a couple of days back, so we already know everything about it. The only thing that remains to be known is the price with which the smartphone launches in India.

Talking about specifications, the Galaxy A7 (2018) is powered by an unknown SoC, comprised of an octa-core CPU. It s complemented by 4GB/6GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB of internal storage, with a dedicated expansion slot that can take up microSD cards of up to 512GB. The smartphone has a 6-inch FullHD+ Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080×2220 pixels, and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio.

For imaging, the Galaxy A7 (2018) sports a triple-camera system at the back, a first for Samsung. It s comprised of one 24-megapixel (primary) sensor, one 8-megapixel (wide-angle) sensor, and a third 5-megapixel (depth) sensor. A 24-megapixel module up front takes care of selfies and video calls. All standard connectivity options are there, with a 3,300mAh battery rounding off the spec sheet.
