Samsung seems to be focusing a lot on the Indian market these days, launching smartphones across all price segments. Just three days back, the company unveiled the Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ smartphones in India. Now, it seems the A-series in the country is about to get a new member.
A full-blown teaser page has gone live on Flipkart, signalling the imminent arrival of Samsung’s Galaxy A7 (2018), with the smartphone set to land in India today. After the Galaxy A8+ (2018) and the Galaxy A8 Star, this would be Samsung’s third A-series smartphone to launch in the country this year. It’s clear that the chaebol is serious about highly-competitive upper mid-range price segment, which is dominated by the likes of OnePlus.
Coming back to the smartphone, the teaser page on Flipkart all but confirms that the Galaxy A7 (2018) will be exclusive to the Indian e-tailer. It also hints at some of the smartphone’s key features, such as improved low-light camera performance, and the ability to turn selfies into emojis.
It’s worth mentioning that the smartphone was unveiled a couple of days back, so we already know everything about it. The only thing that remains to be known is the price with which the smartphone launches in India.
