The company didn’t offer a launch time frame or revealed any pricing details, but mentioned that the handset will be “competitively priced.” According to a report from last week, the company had launched the Galaxy A7 in Philippines at PHP 24,990 (approximately Rs 34,500).
It will be interesting to see how this smartphone plays out in India considering Yu Yureka has the same specifications but is priced at Rs 8,999. The Galaxy A7 might have an edge over the Yureka Yu with its metallic unibody but it remains to be seen how much premium users are willing to pay.
