Talking about the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), a few renders of the device had surfaced online recently. According to the leaked renders, the Galaxy A8 (2016) sports a Galaxy S7-like design along with 2.5D curved display on top and chamfered edges. The Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) was recently spotted on the benchmarking website Geekbench,revealing quite a few details about the phone. According to rumors, the new Grand Prime will come with a metal body. The Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) is expected to be launched sometime later this year. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) specifications
As per the listing on AnTuTu, the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) comes with a full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display. Though the AnTuTu listing doesn’t reveal the display size, previous rumors claim it will have a 5.1-inch full HD display. The smartphone is said to be powered by Samsung Exynos 7420 SoC along with Mali T760 GPU and 3GB of RAM, which is in line with the previous rumor. It also comes with 64GB internal memory.
The AnTuTu listing contradicts the previous rumor of the Galaxy A8 (2016) having a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel camera for selfies. The listing says that the smartphone will come with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the software front, the smartphone will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. Going by the FCC certification, the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) will include connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) specifications
The Galaxy Grand Prime (2016), as the name suggests, is successor to the Grand Prime, which had launched last year. Now that the Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) has passed the FCC approval, the launch seems to take place pretty soon.
Earlier, the smartphone was spotted on the Indian import-export site Zauba that revealed that the smartphone will feature a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display. According to the Geekbench listing, the device will be powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.44GHz paired with 1.5GB of RAM. The Galaxy Grand prime (2016) will ship with Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out-of-the-box.
